Behind the scene

The blog has been quiet recently, but don´t worry I´ve got some things lined up for the next week or so that´ll change that, so stick around. One of the things I want to start sharing with you is some of my images from the last few years that might have slipped through the net.

This image was taken last year on the island of Java and shows a traditional Dayak dance. The Dayaks are said to have an ancestry that dates back some 3000 years to the jungles of Borneo. This folk dance is accompanied by traditional music provided by a small band that has strong links to the Islamic culture. It is performed at a variety of celebrations throughout Java and Kalimantan.
