Let the adventure begin

Many say that home is where the heart is, well for me it’s always felt that I should be travelling. I’ve never really settled in one place for more than a few years, constantly travelling and seeking new experiences and ways of life. For the last few years however, I have found myself somewhat trapped in a beautiful little town about an hour north of Barcelona. Situated in the valleys with mountain views from my bed, it’s been a pretty sweet life. But, the time has come, the itch has returned and I’m now about to get back on the road.

This time, I’m travelling overland, the vehicle is something special and for me it’s now home. Officially, I need to move out of my flat by the 15th September but it doesn’t feel like home there anymore. For all intents and purposes this is now very much where I live.

It has all the luxuries of my flat; hot water, shower, flushing toilet, kitchen, large bed, office space – I’d go as far as saying the views are sometimes even better!

The route

The route is still very much in the pipeline and I think it’s going to be quite an organic experience, there are a few festivals and places I want to visit and for the next 6 to 8 months I imagine I’ll be in Europe; Portugal, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Greece are all likely destinations. After that, who knows?

How you can help me

We all need a little help every now and then in our lives , so if you know of any small, local, slightly crazy festival or must see places that you think would be of interest to me please leave a comment or send me a message – thanks.
