Instagram Stories

I’m a bit of a late comer to this one but the other day I discovered Instagram stories. I’ve been on Instagram for a while but never really got me butt in gear and used it as a tool. My problem with Instagram was simple, whenever I looked at it I saw photos of dogs, cats people’s lunch – I don’t even really know most of these people let alone their pets! I’m sure I’m not the only one who has a timeline like that. So, after a huge clear out to tidy up my timeline – sorry if you didn’t make the cut it’s nothing personal. But now every time I log in I see images that interest me, that inspire me and I can take the platform more seriously now.

In my clear out I also discovered the stories feature, which apparently has been around for a while now, but it was new for me. After a couple of attempts I think I’ve got the hang of it.

I think Instagram stories are going to be a great way for me to share some of the more personal sides to my adventure. Here I can safely share photos of my dog and what I’m having for lunch without cluttering up your timeline. I think it’s going to be a great feature. So if you follow me and you see my face pop up on your Instagram home page be sure to check it out. Remember stories only last for 24 hours and then they disappear…. forever!
