This morning at a local monastery was something truly special, sitting quietly among the monks as they chanted. The young novice monks caught my eye. Some were fully engaged in the chants, while others stole glances and whispered with each other. Here are a few shots that capture the mood of the morning.

So… last night in Jakar was something else. We went to witness a fire ceremony that happens just once a year. The belief is that running through the flames three times burns away all sins and evil. I wasn’t planning to join in, but… well, I gave it a go (just once - not sure what that means for my sins, though). The heat was insane, the chanting was hypnotic, and the energy of the crowd was electric. I’ve shared a couple of photos from the night - one showing the quiet intensity of the moment, and the other capturing the pure chaos. But honestly, the video probably does a better job of showing just how wild it was. What do you think? Would you have given it a try? And if so, would you go all in for the full three runs?
