Postcards from Bhutan

Greetings from Bhutan! I’m writing this from a small guesthouse overlooking a valley, surrounded by prayer flags blowing in the mountain breeze.

I’m currently leading a photography tour through Bhutan – a country so rich in culture and tradition.Β TheΒ vibrant festivals and ancient monasteries have left us in amazement, and next week we’ll be trekking up toΒ theΒ iconic Tiger’s Nest,Β theΒ most incredible monastery anywhere inΒ theΒ world. I can’t wait to see it again.

Exciting news:Β I’ve been named a finalist inΒ theΒ TravelΒ PhotographerΒ ofΒ theΒ YearΒ AwardsΒ – again! (I think this might be my 9th or 10th time, but who’s counting?) It’s always humbling to have my work recognized like this.

OnΒ theΒ tech sideΒ ofΒ things, I’ve been working hard onΒ my website. It’s shaping up well, though I still need to refineΒ theΒ portfolios – it’s a work in progress, but I’m quite proudΒ ofΒ how it’s coming together. It’s certainly better than my previous version.

How are things with you? Have you been working on any creative projects or planning adventuresΒ ofΒ your own? I’d love to hear about them! I’ll do my best to reply.

Sending you warm wishes and a sprinkleΒ ofΒ Himalayan magic.

Tom

ps nextΒ year, we’ll be returning tours to Barcelona, Peru and Bhutan. If you’ve ever dreamedΒ ofΒ joining us on a tour, or know someone who might, check outΒ Raw Tours
